Enhancing St Sampsons and St Peter Port

In St Peter Port, the agency has been assigned the area between La Valette Aquarium and Salerie Corner and in St Sampsons, between Longue Hougue and Vale Castle.

All the developments will be in line with the Island Development Plan which identifies the St Peter Port and St Sampson Harbour Action Areas as areas having significant potential for:

• Inward investment and commercial development and expansion
• Development and support of the visitor economy, leisure, recreation and cultural opportunities;
• The improvement of the appearance and accessibility of public spaces; and
• The enhancement and reinforcement of the historic setting of the harbours.
